History of Chariton Hotel

Chariton Hotel is a 5S-certified hotel brand with multiple branches across northern peninsular Malaysia, offering business-friendly yet affordable rooms for both business and leisure travelers. The brand is registered with the Malaysia Board of Tourism and is an associate member of the Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MYBHA).

Chariton Hotel Butterworth started in 2008 with the aim of providing affordable yet high-quality accommodation for travelers seeking comfort and value. Conveniently located along the main road of Jalan Bagan, just 10 minutes from the Jetty, Chariton Hotel Butterworth offers panoramic views of the island of Penang. It features 50 rooms, including standard, deluxe, and superior categories.

Chariton Hotel Ipoh expanded in 2011 and is conveniently located within a 10-minute drive from Jusco Shopping Complex and several dining outlets. The hotel provides well-equipped rooms with flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and in-room coffee/tea facilities to ensure guest comfort and convenience.

Chariton Hotel Alma opened in 2016 with 30 business rooms designed for corporate travelers. It offers strong Wi-Fi connectivity, comfortable bedding, and a secure environment. Located near AEON Mall Alma and Tesco Alma, the hotel is surrounded by convenient amenities for guests.

Chariton Hotel Bagan, located 1.5 km away from Penang Sentral, began operations in 2021 and quickly became one of the preferred business hotels in Butterworth. It offers affordable, high-quality stays and is rated 1 Star by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
